We have limited availability for September 2025 in both Pre-K Fours & Kindergarten.  Please add your information to the waitlist link below and we will contact you by phone.

We are currently full for our upcoming school year, beginning in September 2025 for our programs: infants through three year old classes.  Additionally, our infant waitlist is full and we are not taking additions to that list for families needing infant care now through August 2026.  If you would like to be added to our waitlist for our ones programs through kindergarten for our 2025/2026 school year, please click on the link below.

History

First Presbyterian Preschool began as a Mothers’ Day Out Program.  The preschool opened its’ doors in September, 1979 with 32 children and two teachers.  Today, the preschool has over 140 children enrolled!

Philosophy

Our preschool is based on the philosophy that each child is a unique individual created by God.  Our program encompasses a developmental approach to learning.  The classroom as well as learning activities reflect this approach. We place emphasis on the joy of learning.  This philosophy provides each child with the opportunity to reach their God-given potential through thoughtful instruction.

Mission

First Presbyterian Preschool is an early childhood ministry of the First Presbyterian Church whose primary purpose is to provide an excellent preschool experience in a Christian environment.  The school is dedicated to the intellectual, cultural, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual growth of its students.
